Description and standard accessories:Honda Marine introduces the new Honda BF115, BF135 and BF150 engines in 2022 to conquer an increasingly demanding audience with more advanced technology for performance, optimized consumption, simplified installation and maintenance.
The renewal of the new Honda BF115, BF135 and BF150 range is already evident from the design: the taut lines and the progressive profile are designed to improve the aerodynamic resistance of the engine.
On the grille, particular importance was given to the intake grille which improves air flows, while the parts that make up the body have been reduced to facilitate maintenance and minimize the risk of water infiltration.
The engine block is completely updated in the electronics. New mappings allow for more power and torque to be developed at lower engine speeds and this allows for an overall reduction in fuel consumption, especially noticeable at cruising speeds.
In addition to updating the electronics, the engine becomes more efficient and performing thanks to totally renewed pistons and airboxes.
The technical contents of the engines are completed by the BLASTTM system (Boosted Low Speed Torque) which, thanks to the management of the stoichiometric air / fuel ratio, allows burning acceleration, and the ECOmo system which maximizes fuel efficiency.
For the BF150 model, with VTECTM technology, the version with iST technology (intelligent Shift & Throttle) by Honda is now also available, an intelligent engine management system for smooth and homogeneous acceleration that allows two or more engines to be controlled more easily. simple, even with a single lever.
Thanks to Drive by Wire, the electronic acceleration management always guarantees a precise and comfortable gear change.
The installation of the new Honda BF115, BF135 and BF150 is considerably simplified both in single and multiple applications, even with a double command station.
Furthermore, for the BF150 DBW rigging is easier and safer thanks to the simultaneous use of NMEA2000 and Honda CAN networks.
