Engines with determination
Lots of oomph. And with a reputation built on reliability, fuel efficiency and low emissions, no boat is truly complete without one of these lightweight 4-stroke engines. Easy to drive and equipped with the programmed ignition function (PGM IG) that will allow you to start and keep the engine running even when cold.
Great power
In electric starting engines it is very important that the batteries remain in good condition for them to be reliable. Therefore, even if you have electrical tools on board, the high-power charging coil keeps the charge level at maximum even at low speeds. In addition, the standard four-blade propeller transfers engine power directly into the water through a slim, hydrodynamic gearbox.
The optional Power Thrust propeller is very easy to install and can be alternated with the standard propeller on heavier or higher displacement boats. Under the silver outer cover is a masterpiece of naval engineering.

It was Honda that introduced the 4-stroke outboard and in 1993 was the first company to pass the Bodensee Lake requirements - the first exhaust regulations in the world.
Very quiet

Simple and light
Easy to lift and carry. The handles of the BF10 are integrated into the design.
1. Simple ignition
Both engines have a decompression system that facilitates starting. This device means that the engine can start at the first pull of the handle and that the battery consumes much less if you have an electric start engine.
2. Facilitated reversing
In forward gear (A) the propeller of each engine spins normally in the water but in reverse it is a whole other story, unless you have a Honda engine. On other outboards, the propeller is forced to spin between the bubbles of the exhaust smoke and cannot get the right grip in the water. Our unique reverse exhaust system pushes bubbles away from the propeller (B) so that it can spin in the water optimally. The result is immediate reverse response and much more accurate control.
3. Simplified manual tilt
The motor is light and easy to tilt even at different angles. In this way, by raising and lowering it, the trim of the boat can be adjusted, improving performance and reducing fuel consumption. Raising the engine will also help you avoid damaging the propeller blades in shallow water or near rocks.
4. Change on the wrist
Both engines have a gear lever integrated directly into the throttle. It works better and is undoubtedly better placed than many other outboards. The throttle lever is soft and offers excellent grip and together with the safety strap ensures safe navigation, whether you are right or left handed. The throttle throttle can be rotated all day (B) as it can be locked in position (A) just like a cruise control system.

With its beautiful silver chrome plating, it is immediately recognized that it is a Honda.
